How quick as this weekend gone.
Today has felt like a super long, but nice day. I was up mega early as set alarm to get up and watch F1, following this I finally (after far too long) started running again....way to see how unfit I am 🤣. I am hoping I can get into a routine with this and eventually start enjoying again. I then did our weekly shop, it was more of a top up shop as we still have a good amount of food still. This week we decided we will eat from our freezer and cupboards to try get it down. It was crazy that it was like 12pm and it already felt like I had done so much.
This week will be a mix at work, there is a few days out of office on a course, so possibly a few hours from home to catch up on my emails in an evening will be in order.
Budget is still looking good.
Here is to a productive weekDays to Orlando: 546 - ☀️2 -
I like to get up early too otherwise I end up feeling that I've wasted the day. Eat the freezer weeks can be really good for random teas 😂2

It's weird I tend to feel more productive on a night 🤣 maybe I just prefer the quiet. I think I have always been a night owl really, but for some reason I have got to a point where I go sleep early now.
Yay for randomness! the more random the better

Ugh, not sure why the heck I am seeing this time in a morning. Hope everyone had a good Monday, yesterday was pretty boring day really, spent typing up reports. I'm hoping I am not getting ill, as I felt off all day yesterday.
I will review all my current to-do stuff and update everything I need to and got a few spreadsheets to update.
In finance news, I am very hopeful to be in a position to pay off the Monzo card by the end of March. Once that is cleared I am going to chuck the payment to the CC. The budget so far is looking good and really dialled in with it since I have started focusing back on YNAB. Car insurance renewal is due and if I can I am hoping to pay in full if I can somehow stretch the budget to cover it.
April's big expense will be a new cooker. We have survived since we moved in just using what we had - airfryer, a portable hob, microwave. This was due to a lack of real space in kitchen, however the de-cluttering has really started to pay off and can see some progress. We are going to move the fridge into back area of kitchen now its cleared and finally can get a decent cooker in place.
Today's job list
1. Update YNAB with yesterday transactions.✅
2. Go for a jog (yay) ✅
3. Breakfast ✅
4. Make work Lunch ✅
5. School Run
6. Work Stuff.
I have finally taken down my big computer desk, it was fine in old house but not suitable for new place. The plan eventually is to replace with a smaller one and it will go in corner (once TV is on wall);
Hope everyone has a good day. I will be asleep at my desk by noon 😂Days to Orlando: 546 - ☀️2 -

ah thank the lord that day is over! The positivity I felt this morning quickly evaporated by a very tough work day. Plan tonight is food and a nice soak in bath and then sofa to watch tv for a bit. I feel absolutely drained by today.
Tomorrow is a new day thoughDays to Orlando: 546 - ☀️2 -
Hope you’re well mate. It has certainly been good to finally see some sun. Looks like your sleep has been about as great as mine ha.2

Evening, hope everyone is keeping well. How quick has March gone!
Today was payday, so need to sit down and review last months spending and sort budget for the upcoming month. I have a vague idea of how it will look but need to get it done.
March has been a pretty decent month spends wise - and tomorrow I will make my final monzo payment. I have also managed to get through the month without dipping into any of the savings which rarely ever happens.

How's that weekend gone so quick...working 5 days for 2 off doesn't seem a fair trade 😂.
I hope everyone had a good weekend, it is certainly nice to see the sunshine.
I have managed to work through budget and we've sat and worked out what needs to be accounted for this month. I have had some of our usual direct debits drop in amount so this will be a positive on the budget, also managed to pay for my insurance in full. I decided to move away from current insurer, after a very frustrating conversation around the renewal.
I will put away my savings tomorrow for the month and this will increase my emergency fund to £400, first goal is to get to £500 and once I have done this I will decrease my contribution and spread the savings monthly amount across other pots. I am enjoying see the savings value go up and although there is still debt I feel in such a better position financially and making better decisions.
This month I haven't really eaten out as such, but we had a few treats and also the food budget was a little above our goals. I have made a decision that based on last 3 months our food budget is just set too low, so this has been upped. I am also going to try do it online to stop the just picking up stuff, I am just bit unsure of online as there is always stuff missing.Days to Orlando: 546 - ☀️2 -
