    Do you have one of the old mechanical meters or a digital one with an lcd screen?

    If the mechanical one does it run backwards if you are exporting? This is technically incorrect but likely better off than an SEG at current unit prices…

    We have both. The old mechanical one and a new digital one that just records what the solar is up to. I couldn't say if the old one runs backwards when we're exporting because it has been so little (one whole kilowatt in 2 months, but I'm ever hopeful.)

    That's quite unusual. What's the make and model?
    Can you share a photo of the meter, showing how it connects to your house wiring?
