My LPG supplier explained that the April price cap will not apply to me ad I'm not on mains gas but have a 1200ltr LPG gas tank. Why?

LPG has never been included in the price cap.

The price cap only applies to mains electricity and gas, to consumers (not businesses). It's never covered any other sort of fuel.

If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Never has, and LPG is dependent on the cost of oil, which unfortunately is fairly high still
