Gers said:Morning - cold and wet here. I had the usual call from Oz this morning and was very unimpressed with the complaints about the heat.My pool session was tough yesterday but it was my hands which hurt. Holding onto the different resistance things whilst pushing pulling through the water was hard on my hands, especially my right one. I'll need to get some heat gel for next time. I didn't drive to buy Dexter beef as the rain was torrential when I came out of the pool so only went into town for a couple of rolls and to send back the Hotter trainers which I didn't like. Think I'll look at Sketcher again, too many choices are not as good as it should be.Today will be calm.@Coxy - I hope that your DH's last day is good, sad too.@Wicked - did you enjoy the day out at the Children's Farm?@Taff - how did your falafel work out?@Izzy - there are loads of Pisces here, off the top of my head TA too. You'll soon be into your final week at work@DP1 - that's rotten about your lingering chest infection. The ABs will wipe it out.@Ruby - I hope that you feel better today, a snuggly day is always great.@Snoozer - I had a little chuckle at Steve though I agree that it's annoying too. Some men just zone out.@AA - did you get to the dentist?@SO - you'll be fine once there. People in the same position as you will always be supportive and kind.Hugs to our poorlies. Thanks for asking about the dentists it seems to have settled a bit - it isn’t sharp just slightly rough so I’m seeing how it goes over the weekend. I know how awful it can be as have had unfortunately, lots of dental work!

Morning allSilver Oldie I hope today goes well for you. Just remember that everyone there has walked through the door for the very first time too. I'm sure there will be a warm welcome for you as they've all been through the same as you.Nan I hope your op goes well. I know a couple of years ago when they found cancer in my womb everything was arranged so quickly and efficiently. I was so very impressed and proud of our NHS.Well, my day involves having my hairdresser come round to cut my hair and lots of packing as we fly off to the sun tomorrow. Never been to the Caribbean before so we've splashed out for a big holiday before we both finish work for good. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning!Keep safe everyone and I'll see you on the other side xx9

I want plain laced trainers without fancy markings or strange fixings.@snoozer - that weird formatting happens to me sometimes, especially on iPad which is why I go back to edit it as I can't bear to see my post all jumbled.@Chrisca - how exciting! How long are you going for? The Carribbean will have sunshine so I'm jealous.

I'm another piscean and was born on St Patrick's day. Apparently the Dr wanted to call me Patricia but mum refused.
Nanny, I'm glad things are moving quite swiftly.
Gers, I did my post on the laptop so I don't know how it happened.9 -
Have a wonderful holiday Chrisca. I have forgotten what warm sunshine feels like. Enjoy. Xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9

Have a great holiday Chrisca, I'm only a little bit jealous!
Fast work from the NHS Nanny, well done to them. How are you feeling about it?
Glad you're feeling better Ruby
I'm Pisces too, although I don't go in for all that stuff.
Gosh Izzy, just one week to go after today.
It's been mostly raining here with the odd spot of sunshine and some sleet thrown into the mix, really not at all nice. I gave in and put the heating on for an hour yesterday, will probably do the same when I get in later.
I'll go and visit my pal with a recovering knee after work and fill her in on any gossip we have then it's home to have a cosy Friday night.
Gers, Adidas do plain black trainers with laces, I think they are called swift run.
Take care. XX8 -
