We got a cheap kitchen (well we think it's cheap) rather than an expensive brand so that we could have it now and enjoy it. But our current kitchen is not functioning and so much is broken (including the hob that only works when it wants to). We've paid £5k or just over for an L shaped one with dishwasher. We had the other stuff already or bought elsewhere.
I've painted kitchens before too. I did one in pink and it was gorgeous and made it look like a completely different space. Cost me £22.

It's tough for our DS's.  I feel my DS had gone backwards from owning to renting but that's how it goes sometimes.

Had a lazy day yesterday, cut the grass and tidied up then headed into town to catch up with a friend for an early supper and a chat.

It was nice just having a read in the garden but today the rain is back! Off to the dentist’s for a check up then meeting some old colleagues for lunch, bit of a trek so contemplating a visit to the big Swedish store afterwards seeing I am almost there anyway.

I resisted and just came home KK.  Lunch was really nice, there were fourteen of us and we have all known each other between 30 and 40 years!

I have tidied up a bit and done the ironing, always a relief to get it out of the way. I have done my budget for next month and looking forward to payday 😂
