Same here … Another 14 years of paying down the mortgage unless I can accelerate it. I like my current job but I can’t face doing it (or any other one) for yet another 14 years …
Well done on the OP 😊👏

I get the work thing. I like what I do and my goodness I've had to work hard to build things up after PPH left but I don't want to be doing it forever which is why the sight is set on retirement somehow (due to PPH/ex I was in the unusual position of MF but no money pots).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
I do like my job most of the time but sometimes other people’s MH is a lot to deal with. It’s would be good to have a choice.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Gorgeous day here today, washing is out obviously 😂 I am thinking of going to a fairly local NT place for a wander round the gardens this morning and will come home and do the housework later and have some lunch.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

OMG at the cute kitty. I used to have a cat (before I got asthma and then allergic to animals 😭) that looked EXACTLY like yours! Aw so nice to see a pic and have nice memories of my fluffy little bundle.
Just lately I have been having a real mid-life crisis about needing to pay the mortgage for another 19 years. I can't face doing my job for that long, and I don't even want to be working that long either. I will be 65 😑 so I know I need to make some sort of plan to pay this mortgage down asap....I think you are doing amazing getting into the 30s..I can only dream of that 🤩 (and I do, often. 🤣)MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Officially my mortgage is due to run until I am 67 - what a thought! You are doing a lot of work on your house at the moment, it’s hard to find the money for both. I really want a new kitchen…Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
