    Loving the house grid ... You need to also do a celebratory dance when you get to colour a square in - its the rule  :) 
    I also write the  date in the box so I can see when I coloured it in so you  can track your progress

    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £36.2K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.3K) = 42.1£127.5K target 33% 27/2/26 (If took bigger lump sum = 64K or 50.1%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)

  • Went for a walk today and the weather was gorgeous, then came home and sat in the garden with the cat and a book. 
    Must not spend money unnecessarily so I can spend my summers this way…
    Oh wow that's beautiful! Is that close to where you live? How wonderful....I wish I were closer to the sea, it's a pretty long drive from ours so I rarely go.

    I can walk to the beach from mine, it’s about a mile and a half but this is a wee bit further away - about 30 minutes drive to a gorgeous country park and beach.

    I went for a run this morning and it was blowing a gale - my fault for bringing the garden furniture out of the hut yesterday 😂 then I had to wait in for a delivery. Off to see a film this evening with a friend at film club so I seem to have managed a NSD by accident! I really needed to go to the supermarket but never mind…
