BTW the police seem pretty hot on this, and obviously you're highly visible.
They have a choice, they can either buy SDP/SDPC and then use a PAYG Hire & Reward insurer to top up their policy. There are some that charge by the hour, day week or month.
Alternatively they can buy a full Hire & Reward policy and forgo the SDP policy.
Business insurance does not include using your vehicle to deliver goods.
PS. the by the hour solutions require you to turn it on/off at the start and end of your shift. If you "forget" to turn it on then you will effectively be riding without insurance. It's a bit more integrated that "turn it on and off". Well, Zeog is:"With Zego’s pay-as-you-go insurance, you only pay for the cover you need, just for the time that you need it. We are partnered with work providing platforms to cover you for the exact time you are on shift. Your work provider will let us know when you start and stop making your deliveries, so you can get cover for the exact time that you need it."
