Need some advice please!! Long story... bought windows and doors from the above company who have since ceased trading, These were installed in Jan '23 but it was found that they hadn't installed the necessary lintels (which we had paid for). Remedial works to rectify the missing lintels was completed in Sept '23 Upon completing this they found that one of the doors didn't need a lintel, we would be refunded and since we had bought using buy now pay 12 months later finance the amount would be adjusted and the payment due date would be moved to Sept '24. Before this could be resolved Safestyle ceased trading... the finance company now want settling.  To compound matters, i didn't sign anything to confirm i was happy with the works in the first place.. i was under the impression i would have to sign some sort of satisfaction form to allow the finance company to release the funds to Safestyle. Anyone have any advice of where i go from here?

Safestyle worked with several finance houses. Is your buy now pay later credit agreement with Novuna?

My finance provider is Omni... they've been really helpful, which has been a pleasant surprise.

I'm having a similar issue with doors fitted by them in 2018.  They took out a load bearing wooden frame but didn't put in a load bearing anything other then cut bricks in half and Fill the gap.

Surprise, surprise bowing and cracking of bricks has commenced.

I have contacted the insurer who underwrote the insurance backed guarantee but now need to also contact the finance company which is Barclays Partner Finance.  I'm not sure I should hold my breath for a positive response from either.
