Thames Water billing and account confusion

A bit late getting onto this but in June 2023 my Thames Water direct debit inexplicably jumped from £26 a month to £51 a month. I went to request an account statement online and it says...
We can provide you with an account statement showing your transaction history if the start date is no more than 2 years ago and after your move in date 22/08/2019
We moved into our property in Jan 2015, not Aug 2019
Are they suddenly billing us for the wrong account?

Do you have a meter. You can check the meter number to make sure it’s correct. I would call them to sort it out. I don’t know about Thames water but our water company keeps payment records for a long time.0
