We parked in a car park in Whitley Bay last Friday (16th Feb) and the phone number bot didn't understand what I was saying when I tried to give my car reg. I gave my debit card number and it took £1. I eventually managed to register the car using a text message. It then took £1.80 for the hours parking. I downloaded the app but despite putting in the car reg there is no receipt available. This morning I checked the bank account and they have also taken £59.99!!
I've tried ringing, I cannot find an email account or number where I can speak to a person. Anyone able to help!!!!?

Phone your bank - ask then to re-debit your account2

Agree with the above. Call your bank explain and ask them to do a chargeback0

Exactly same happened to me in Whitby on Sunday 13th April, luckily my bank picked up the charge as fraud and didn’t pay but had to change my debit card as a result. Hope you got sorted.4

This has just happened to my partner today. Rang the bank and all they could do was stop the company from taking anymore money and issued him with a new card. We are unable to get back the £59.99, disgusting!!0

This happened to me twice, same place the following day, it tells you that the card details are invalid and asks you to re-enter your details. I suspect that every time you do this that it signs you to a different subscription. Check your spam for the subscriptions they have signed you up to. You can cancel the repeat payments from there, I also contacted the support on these site and they agreed to refund, one of them has since gone back in, the other one is still processing. The cheeky thing is they both then emailed me questionnaire to rate there customer service. These scammers are expert at skating on legal thin ice, I'll give them that.2
