People's Energy - Claim?

Hi has anyone had an email from [Removed by Forum Team]  advising you may be entitled to a claim from People's Energy.  Not sure if this is a scam email a lot of legal jargon on the email it  mentions could be due compensation due  to claims People's Energy  made to customers that they would be shareholders which never happened.  there is a link to a portal which I haven't clicked on  as not sure if this is  genuine.

Looks like it could be a scam.  The administrators are Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP so you could ask them using the info provided by Ofgem.

I am still trying to get £1000.00 back from Peoples energy as they over charged me on my last gas bill and now British gas have taken my account over they are trying to make me pay this - which i have proof this was not correct but not getting any where - any advice ?

More information is needed. Why do you think you were overcharged?

In case anyone  is interested I finally got a reply back from the email on the ofgem site and the email is genuine

I received the same email , looked very complicated which put me of pursuing but i think i will definately look further into it

Hi , i I received the same email , looked very complicated which put me of pursuing but i think i will definately look further into it .  Would be interested to know if anyone has submitted a claim and is in the process , I think we had until August to sumbit

I've also just received an email. Is this legitimate? I'm unsure as to what it is referring to when it says to vote for the scheme?
