Car park - claim form advice

Hi
Yes sorry - I thought it would be QDR due to the 'Notice of transfer to solicitors' letter from GCTT, way back in Aug 2023.
The claim form does state UK Parking Control as the claimant, and also UK Parking Control as the address for sending documents/payments. (Top left of the claim form). So yes, it seems QDR are out of the picture and it is UKPC filing the claim.1 -
Good news then! Never seen them attempt a hearing & they no longer seem to file claims.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi
Had a notice of discontinuance received today.
Interestingly the recent emails I've received from UKPC offering to settle have been sent way past the deadline that the claimant / UKPC needs to pay the trail fee by. So wondering if they never paid that, and were acting in bad faith by chasing me to pay a reduced settlement in lieu of a trial that wasn't going to happen, or whether they had actually paid the admittedly small (£27) fee.
Anyways, thanks for your help everyone. I had put in an expenses claim on my WS but considering most of that cost was for attending the trial itself, prob not worth putting in a counterclaim I'm thinking.4 -
Well done, looks like it was an in house claim, not via DCB legal
Another one bites the dust !3 -

No intention to attend hearings I expect. None of their in-house cases we've seen, proceeded to a hearing.
Well done on your win!

Presumably because they don’t want to pay £200 for a rep to try and win little back .Naughty really for attempting this via the back door . Backfired anyway.2
