Lufthansa Flight Delayed

We experienced a delay of over 5 hours on our Lufthansa flight for four people from Frankfurt to Punta Cana on August 16th, 23. 

If you are looking to obtain compensation from Lufthansa, it may not be worth your time. Typically, after a 6-month delay, they will respond with a standard message stating they will not pay due to adverse weather conditions. This is a strategy to discourage passengers from pursuing compensation.

The best course of action is to take your deadlock email letter directly to Sop (ADR). As I did, you do not have to provide any evidence to Sop, as airlines are obligated to provide evidence (such as bad weather) as to why they are not paying compensation.

I am pleased to report that I have just received 2400 euros as compensation 😁
