Creditors have 1000`s of non payers to deal with, things don`t always move very fast,I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. A default have just been added to my experian. Its time to talk to the creditor right?0

If you can make an offer, now is a good time0

But some of the debts show 4 missed payments but no default. Don't they just turn into CCJ's?0
-
No -nothing can just turn into a ccj. There has to be a court claim, which you would respond to.
Before that there has to be a pre-action letter with standard form and 30-day reply time. We recommend that you respond to that one.
Creditors have 6 years to start a claim from the default date, and only a small proportion ever do. So in your situation I wouldn't worry about it1 -
