Having entered all information required, try to take photo of cheque, but TSB App shuts down?
I've deleted and reinstalled app several times.
I've even downloaded and installed old versions of TSB App and the same thing occurs.
Android version 12
TSB App 8.0.4

Can you photograph the cheque separately and then upload the photo?
I have an app that has a photo feature (not a banking app) which sometimes does the same thing - the workaround is to take the photo and then upload it1 -
Has the TSB app been granted access to the use the camera in android?0

at what stage does it shut down ? when you are focusing the camera on the cheque, after you have pressed the shutter button - or other0

I've been having similar issues as the OP with TSB for several months now. Whenever I try to deposit a cheque it just comes up with a mostly black screen and doesn't let me scan it. The app doesn't shut down in my case though and I still have the option to go back to my account balances.
I asked TSB about this in branch around a month ago, they just checked that I had granted the app the use of the camera and then took some details and reported the issue to their tech team. I haven't heard from them since though.
You can't do this with TSB as far as I know so this workaround doesn't work in this case.Emmia said:Can you photograph the cheque separately and then upload the photo?

OP have you made sure that your operating system and all apps are fully up to date?0 -
No issue for me with Android 9 & 13 so expect it's down to manufacturer.

What's the phone model? Someone on another thread is having problems with Xiaomi and banking apps (not TSB).0
