No 5g on ID Mobile

I took out a contract with ID Mobile recently, advertised as a 5g network, but my 5g phone does not receive 5g. It works perfectly fine on other networks. ID Mobile does not make it clear on it's website, when it says customers will receive a 5g signal, that this is restricted to handsets on its approved list. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm actually paying for an inferior service after switching

I recently got a contract phone with ID (iphone 15 pro) and 5G works fine.

Did you actually get a new phone, or are you sim only and using an old phone?

Presumably you got a 5G sim? I know O2 didnt mention needing to change the sim to be able to get 5G

ID is on Three. Do they actually have 5G in your area? They don't cover as much of the country as some other networks.

Also, what is the make and model of the phone ?

The SIM works perfectly fine in a different phone. I suspect a scam here
