Estate Metered LPG Prices

Hi all LPG Users, we are on a bulk estate metered LPG serviced by Calor, they won’t engage with us regarding prices, we are paying 72pence per litre plus 16.4 pence per day standing charge, just wondered if any of my fellow LPG prisoners can help with current price information. Thanks to all.

You know you switch as a group? You cant go your own way?0 -
I’m paying Calor 52ppl with 16.44/standing charge, have been for 12mths. 1 of 10 properties on a 12mth fixed price about to renew.
you need to get a statement of authority signed by all residents on supply and appoint a spokesman to agree the deal/ or your Residents Association/ Management Company can do this - Calor are awkward to deal with and expensive, but sounds like you are being fleeced. Talk to your neighbours and find out who signed what!0 -
Hello.I really hope someone can help as I am at my wits end with this. My partner and I live in a park home. We have been here for two and a half years. We have two meters, one for fa's and one for electric. Every two months, the owner of the site (there are only 10 lodges) takes meter readings and prints us a bill. For the past 30 months we have had no problems however, the site owner now tells us that he has been calculating the gas incorrectly and what was £260 is now £650. More than double. We are charged £0.50 per kwh for electic with £0.60/per day standing charge. The standing charge for gas is £0.30/per day but we are now being charged £2.59/per unit of gas. My latest two monthly bill is £196.93 for electricity and £454.57 for gas. This seems wrong but I don't know who to turn to for advice. Are you able to help me?Karen0

For electricity, the site owner isn't allowed to resell at a profit. They can only pass on their own costs. The price you quote seems high for a current tariff. As for gas, what does the meter measure as a unit? Is it cubic metres, cubic feet or something else?
