    Also curiously, we received a letter from Tesco Bank for my partner's first partner, who died in 2009. It's possible, of course, that he had had an account with Tesco Bank, but that should have been dealt with by the solicitors who acted as executors for his estate.

    I've suggested my partner call TB to find out why they've sent it, but it's like talking to a brick wall (he hates dealing with anything like this).
  • As a Tesco loan customer who defaulted on his loan when becoming disabled. I wonder how will this effect me? I pay £1 a month and Tesco have said they won't sell the debt or chase it.

    I'd be seeking that assurance in writing if you don't have it already; it's exactly the sort of thing which gets missed in data migrations.
