I contacted BT to try and cancel contract and go onto a rolling contract. They will not do so if you have extras (that I no longer need) and wish to cancel. I would have to go with a rolling contract on the current package with all the extras, if I cancel the extras then I will need to get a new long-term contract with BT 🤷🏻‍♂️
Can you cancel the extras after you switch to a rolling contract?

I was not given this option… Disappointing, we have been with BT (in its various forms) for some 60 years.

If this is the contract ends in March let it expire then look at options, no idea why you're so up in arms about this, no provider would let you cancel a contract & go rolling when you still have a minimum term to complete

I contacted BT complaints and they contacted me within 24 hours and apologised and have created a basic account which I can cancel at any time. Whilst the original person I spoke to was correct BT, will make exceptions in these circumstances.
