Great British Insulation Scheme - Anyone else having issues getting Energy Company to help??

I applied for the "Great" British Insulation Scheme back in November, and was approved as eligible straight away.  However, having contacted E:on, my energy company, who are supposed to do a survey and then, hopefully, the insulation, I am no further forward and they have essentially said they will not do it as they "don't have enough contractors" to do the survey.  Has anyone else had issues with their Energy Companies doing this work?  If we are to get our loft insulated ourselves, it will cost nearly £800.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

SmJH, same issue here. Promised calls but none materialise from EON. Can't book an installer but they have no appointments. Registered in September.

Schemes are great in principle. Actually getting sufficient trained feet on the ground takes far longer to fulfill.  The real economy doesn't work at flick of a switch.
