    He's an idiot and wrong.

If he engaged his brain and considered the fairness of the term (a duty on the courts under the CRA 2015, s71) he'd realise that it cannot POSSIBLY cost £140 to recover two parking charges worth an already very inflated £200!

Thank Goodness the Government will be moving to stop this blatant 'extortion' this year.

  • In retrospect, I think my evidence and case was better than the Claimant. But my inexperience in the court proceedings didn't enable me to get my story across in a clear and understandable way. The Judge did spend 10 mins reading my statement so he did know all my legal arguments but my central argument to the case wasn't pursasive enough.

This forum helped me with the case preparation and for that I thank you. It would have helped more if I had a more detail explanation of the court process and what to say and do. For example the judge said there was no need to go through my witness statement as he had read it, so i went through my summary points which did not go through the exhibit list in detail and build the story.

I have paid the money to the Claimants solicitors within the month as required. I have then sent an email to the county court with the receipt and form N443 to request a certificate of satisfaction. I haven't had any receipt back from the court. How do I know they have received it and wiped the CCJ from the record? What is the right process here (email etc) please?

You don't want a cert of satisfaction.

The CCJ will just naturally drop off your record within a couple of weeks.
