Afternoon all,
thanks for any advice given in advance.
we are receiving on the monthly a letter requesting £170 or risk running legal action.
we attended a local harbour and picked the fine up. (15minute stroll smh).
dcbl are sending a similar worded letter every month inviting us to pay but again have ignored and not responded.. just after some advice as to what to do, ignore and wait or settle? (I don’t want to settle, other half wants to settle and pay)… I’m as stubborn as the hills with these situations.
thanks in advance ( see letter attached).

It is not a fine.
DCB Limited, or DCB Legal Limited? The former can safely be ignored. The latter cannot.
On whose behalf are DCBL acting (what is the name of the PPC)?
Where did the alleged event occur? It may have cropped up here before. Since you say this occurred at a harbour, the site may be covered by harbour/port byelaws, meaning the keeper cannot be held liable. It is important therefore that the driver's identity is never revealed to anyone. You should check if byelaws apply.I married my cousin. im sorry I have not received any previous posts (I will).

hope this helps with any further advice. TIA0 -
It's poor quality bog-paper, but shredded, I'm told it makes reasonable quality hamster bedding. Collect enough and you could run a multi-fuel stove by turning them into paper briquettes.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES explains this.

Put in a strong complaint about the footer, where they are threatening to take away goods if you don't pay .They can not do that at this stage, and must not threaten to do so as they clearly have doneFrom the Plain Language Commission:
