I have only just noticed a direct debit has gone out of my bank account fir the last 2 months.
With no notification whatsoever from 'Nowtel' I sense I possibly took up a low or free offer 6 months ago.
Who would it be. I did not even even use the sim. Seems a bit naughty, them sneaking it through at the end of an offer(that I never used).
Can someone help?

Might be a service from RWG? Or Now Telecom direct?0

If it is a mobile sim then it is quite possible direct debit reminders are being sent to the phone number. Can you see the date the dd was setup in your online banking? You should have received confirmation soon afterwards.
Not many networks use dd these days, most are continuing payment authority as they are secured by the card number and cvc (and in growing number of cases 2 factor authorisation). It is kind of hard to not notice authorising payments.0 -
My mobile is with TalkHome and direct debits appear as Nowtel0

Looks to have been Talkhome. Am sure it was a 12 month prepaid sim though. I also had another but it was never activated. I used their form.
Seems very very sneaky not to send any emails. BE WARNEDMoneysaving Expert do not reply to requests regarding deleting membership.

That 12 months should still be ongoing. Not sure if I still have the sim, however.it was a cheap one off payg offer, which initially when arrived, was described as a pay monthly sim, which I got corrected.
I filled in an online form querying the numbers I had with them.
There was no recipt email if them receiving this form. However, they do seem to have a none premium number I can ring from my Three sim, which I may need to resort to.Moneysaving Expert do not reply to requests regarding deleting membership.

I suspect it was the 5p or 1p per month 6 month Sim. They never took the 5p or 1p and without emails, it simply caught me out. By intent no doubt.Moneysaving Expert do not reply to requests regarding deleting membership.

You can simply log in to their website and switch it off - that's what I did with my 30 days sim when 1p offer ended.
