Help with Moto V220!

I have Motorola V220 which was unlocked in a shop. It was originally on Orange.

Lately I am having problem in making calls using o2 sim...but it allows me to check the credit but cant make any call?

Not sure what to do? Does it need unlocking again?

I know it is a old phone, but is in a very good condition [dont want to through this]

Your help is very much appreciated!

try another sim, if that works it is probably a problem with the sim or a prob at o2's end.

    it shouldn't need unlocking again

    Thanks for your reply.

As mentioned it recognizes all simcards [displays o2/orange or virign] but it only allows to make calls when using orange sim. For other simcard....it says call failed // not subscribed!

I wonder it might be a problem with the phone or any settings change needed?:o :o:o

(this is just a wild guess as i dont know too much about Motos)

it may be that orange have done something with the software if you have never been able to call other numbers. a firmware debrand should solve this & remove the horrible orange branding.

i would take it back to where you got it unlocked and see if they can do anything to help

    Thanks once again!

I called Motorola and been told either to get software update/repair it!

When I asked could this be anything to do with Phone setting......she told to try 'Master reset'.........

After resetting it works fine now!!!
