DRP text with no prior letters or PCN notice

Morning all,
Firstly I have read the newbies thread but I am concerned it does not answer my question. I have out of the blue received a text over the weekend from DRP stating;
"DRP have tried to contact you by letter, if you don’t contact us now we will treat this as an active choice not to pay. To prevent the matter escalating please pay now at www.paydrp.com quoting reference number **** PCN *****, VRM *****"
* numbers redacted for security
I genuinely have no idea where the PCN is from, I have received no prior letters from DRP or any parking company. I double checked and my VC5 was updated in June following a house move days earlier so my details through the DVLA are correct.
Now I know everyone says to ignore DRP however I will be shortly starting the process of buying a home and any unexpected CCJs could delay this. Especially if any court correspondence Is sent to an old address without my knowing.
Is it worth contacting them to ask where the original PCN has come from and then submitting a SAR to the parking company? Would this be able to prove it the letters were sent to my old address after the VC5 was updated and if so would this mean it would be invalid? I don't even know how much DRP are claiming is owed as the text shows nothing, the website just asks how much I would like to pay.
As I genuinely have no idea where this ticket has come from I am unsure who was driving the vehicle as there are multiple users however I am the registered keeper.
Many thanks in advance for any advice at all.

Send a SAR to DVLA to find out who has been asking for your details.2

Does it clearly state what to do if you haven't received prior notification and have no idea where the PCN has come from on the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread?1 -
Perhaps not, but it clearly states how to deal with powerless debt collectors.JC3 said:

Check that your V5C is up-to-date with your current address. This is the usual reason for receiving debt collector letters but no PCNs.JC3 said:Does it clearly state what to do if you haven't received prior notification and have no idea where the PCN has come from on the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread?3 -

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Appreciate the response. The vehicle details were the first thing I checked as I second guessed myself for a second however I have the VC5 in hand with my new address. This was changed shortly after I moved home in June.Coupon-mad said:

I wasn't looking for a way to deal with the debt collector directly as some seem to have taken this post but more to find out where the PCN has come from so I can investigate further/ challenge if required. DRP won't get a penny from me and I hope the whole vulture industry is regulated asap.2 -
Just to clarify as well I hadn't received any letters from the debt collector or any parking company so this is why I was unsure if both had been sending letters to my previous address. Appreciate I'm new here and you get asked this a lot.1

Does the debt collector letter not name their 'client' somewhere ?The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3
