  • Thank you @Nellymoser

Any comments on my appeal please?
  • I can't seem to find this provision about grace periods in the 2024 version

BPA’s Code of Practice (13.1) states that:

“If a driver is parking without your permission, or at locations where parking is not normally permitted, they must have the chance to read the terms and conditions before they enter into the ‘parking contract’ with you. If, having had that opportunity, they decide not to park but choose to leave the car park, you must provide them with a reasonable grace period to leave, as they will not be bound by your parking contract.”

That's because you've copied from an old example.  You have to make it make sense.  Codes change
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I should be using the version 8 chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/AOS_Code_of_Practice_January_2020_v8(2).pdf as it happened in January. It doesn't seem to have that.

    Many thanks.
I need to find the recent POPLA judgement about digitally altered photos and relevant points about the Consumer Rights Act.

I shall aim to do them latest tomorrow as I am delaying others waiting for me at the moment.

If anyone can please confirm my last day for submission.

You have already been told over on FTLA that you need to use v8 of the IPC CoP and you were provided a link to that version. Additionally, you were told to search the POPLA thread here for the successful appeal on cropped images in an NtK. Please don't expect us to also do the actual search for you.

Why did you choose not to show us the last sentence of that 13.1 point?

In the January 2020 version of the BPA's CoP it states...

That 13.1 point is identical - word for word and including the 'minutes' sentence - in both the v8 and v9 versions of the CoP.

I simply stated the two outstanding points I hadn't yet updated in the revision I posted. "I need to find“.

I was using quotes from versions several years ago. It only just came to light that I was using versions from 2017 or so.

Whilst there is no offer of a contract to park at the location, please remind us of the length of time the vehicle was stopped there.

The driver said maybe 10mins but the photos on the portal suggested more when I check weeks back. I don't have access to the portal anymore and the NtK time stamp is not clear.
The wording stat 12:07 for example and "period of parking to which this notice relates is the period immediately preceding the incident time stated above".

I assume they're going for "too long".
    Here's my almost final appeal.
