I have had a thread in a carpet catch on my hoover but I knew instantly.  Hoover was upright with revolving brush and it caught a loose loop and it was a bit like unraveling knitting.  Had to stop and unwind the “thread” off my hoover.
  • Thanks. Yeh it wasn’t the hoover I’m 99% sure if that. Anyway they’ve now said they’ll replace but won’t pay for the refitting. Is this something they should pay also? I’m assuming it is!

If you only paid them for the carpet and not the fitting then all they have to do is replace said faulty carpet.
