What to do about ISAs - fixed or cash or both?

I have a Fixed rate 2 year ISA which only has £1000 in it and I can't add to it. (Matures March 2025). I'm anticipating having several thousands (5-10K) next financial year to put into savings. Can I open an additional ISA?
