Does my gas bill seem crazy high?

Btw there was any intended judgement in my previous comment either, I hope it didn't sound like there was.
It literally was just for some helpful perspective when thinking about the kind of usage that might be expected. The 'typical' gas usage for an overall average home is 12000kWh/yr (or actually now 11,500kWh) so your 25000kWh is about expected, if the typical consumption indeed relates to a 97m² house. (The 2022 data saying that's the overall average house size in England, across all sizes and types.)1 -
