Tesco Clubcard Credit card abroad

Do the figures for the relative cost of using a Tesco Clubcard Credit card abroad take into account the Clubcard points that would be earned compared to cards that do not charge an exchange load? Is it worth getting one of the ‘top travel cards’ and losing out on the Clubcard points that can be used for 2 x face value on vouchers?

Load on the exchange rate is 2.75%
Earning on non-Tesco spend is 1 point per £8. A point is worth a penny so that's 0.125% back. Or if you double up your points 0.25%.1 -
A top "user friendly" travel card is the way to go.Barclaycard Rewards for example.1

The couple of times I used a Tesco credit card abroad it worked out to be quite expensive. Now my card of choice for overseas is Halifax Clarity.
I would much prefer not to incur charges upfront than earn points that may be devalued later.1 -
I have Tesco credit card for shopping and petrol but would never use it abroad.

I use Nationwide VISA Gold credit card abroad, no commission, fair exchange rate, used to extend the warranty on electrical items at home too!
Yep, the last bit was too good a deal, so they stopped that 😟.0
