National Westminster Bank daily digital online payment limit

You might want to check your Santander account. The daily limit is £25,000 but they have recently changed the default for many, including me, to £5,000

I was limited to 2k this morning, let me change to 5k.
I moved 10k last week, so was confused 🫤

Every so often (like when Bath BS are topping the best buy tables), I get frustrated there aren't any local BSs round here - the Westminster bank's the closest we've got... (or London Mutual, but they're definitely bottom of the savings league)

Yes, I guess historically the London / South East banks and building societies have had enough consumers that they have all either been absorbed or become national brands in their own right. Whereas those in the NW/NE or SW have retained a local focus and hence offer unique opportunities to residents in those areas.
