I finished the first item in my FINISH 24 in 2024 list yesterday - MUA Cupcake blush. I bought this as a dupe for Tarte Exposed. It was actually not a good dupe but lovely in its own right. I did end up buying Exposed anyway and dont use it as much as this.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. One UU so far in February:
Paula's choice gel to cream cleanser. WNBA. Was a sample.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN1 -
Another UU Rituals Cooling Sport Shower Gel. Lovely 'wake up' fragrance but would not buy again. I'm getting closer to the point I was aiming at when I started this challenges. (Inspired by my heydays of flat shares when I had just a small corner shelf with everything in and my first house where I had a vanity unit that had space (I could open the door and products did not tumble out).
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

UU
- Sanex Zero Shower Gel: I like this as my basic shower gel, and then I use a nice fruity one as a treat once or twice a week- I realise that’s a little strange, but gives me a little weekend boost! Bought the replacement the other week.
- Essie- Gel Couture Clear Top Coat: Technically there is still a little left of this, but it is so goopy and awful it ruined my last few mani's and made them look crap. Its past the point of thinner (it had thinner in the last few times), so this is done. Before that, it's a lovely topcoat- v plump!
- Maison Margiela Replica- 2ml travel/Sample- Bubble bath: Too flowery for me, wouldn’t buy.
INS- Kerastase shampoo- Bain Divalent: My friend gave this to me. It's meant to help with oily hair. She didn’t love it, so we'll see. I'm going to wash my hair every other day anyway so am sure it'll be fine. Wasn't going to say no to free fancy shampoo!
- Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 200ml: Mines running on the low side, replacement.
- Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover: Replacement. I tried just oil on a cotton round for a while (on days I didn’t actually double cleanse, or in the morning to swipe off panda eyes), but I didn't like love it, so ordered this again.
- Glisten & Glow nail polish Top Coat: hasn't arrived yet, but have heard good things on this one. Replacement for the Essie.
And one pan in Sugarpill's S.W.A.K eyeshadow single- a shimmering rose petal pink with gold duochrome. It's very pretty, and makes a lovely blush too!

UU Tisserand Massage Oil - it is a lovely smelling oil and I've been using as a body oil on dry skin. I've another half used bottle still to go.
UU or more correctly thrown away Spieza toner. It was a free travel size that came with my make up remover and I realised this morning I don't like the smell. Faintly medicinal not luxurious or even practical. So tipped it away and put the lovely glass bottle in recycling. Might seem wasteful but I just knew I would not use this one and it would clutter the dies in the bathroom detracting from my goal which does seem to be in sight now.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
