BARCLAYS BANK A/C PACKAGE - BREAKDOWN + TRAVEL INSURANCE

I have recently updated my information/medical issues with Barclays as I'm required to do (Note:- the travel insurance cover has been transferred to Aviva by Barclays for management purposes). They have confirmed that they are prepared to cover my existing MAJOR historical medical issues - but my latest condition ( only diagnosed within the last 12 months) - they have decided not to cover. I am therefore left with a 80% effective ongoing travel insurance policy! Has anyone had the same experience?. Has anyone tried to get travel insurance for just 1 condition? Do I need to be going to a specialist insurance broker? Any advice/assistance would be much appreciated

I'd be looking into a new policy. We have recently covered my husband with a multitude of medical stuff, the best cover and price we found was insurancewith.com the medical screening asked actual relevant questions for the conditions.0

Is there not an option to pay an additional fee to include cover in respect of the excluded condition ?
