Debszzzz2 said:OP... try entering the correct email address which is ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk. Just for clarity... you have shown us "ccbcaq@justiVe.gov.uk" instead of "ccbcaq@justiCe.gov.uk".
You don't have to "find" this anywhere on line. It IS the email address to use when submitting a defence as a PDF attachment by email to the CNBC.Coupon-mad said:azqw204 said:There email address provided to submit a defence in my OP is CCBCAQ@justive.gov.uk. I cannot find this anywhere online. My only option appears to use the GOV MCOL service. The defence here is limited to 122 lines.
The only email I can see here is ccbc@justive.gov.uk but that is only for help.
Is it advisable to send my defence via post to the Northampton court address listed on the claim form? (NN1 2LH)
DO NOT USE MCOL FOR THE DEFENCE.
Sending it by post to that massive (several floors) multi-service general 'admin centre', who lose stuff at the best of times, would be like throwing it into a black hole. Please stop looking for alternatives that you don't need.0 -

And you could add that you do not believe that the requirements for 'keeper liability' have been met.
Have you now signed, dated & emailed it and got the silly acknowledgement email?

As you didn't receive all PPC's letters please consider supporting this.
So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes.
PPCs always claim discounted rate/full rate pcns/court claim letters were sent though they offer no evidence to prove this. Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP.
Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable
Thank you. Good luck with court hearing.

Yes, that email address is no longer in use but it was in use when you were due to file a Defence.
Back in January I wrote on your thread......you have until 4pm on Friday 23rd February 2024 to file your Defence.Have you still not filed a Defence?
Maybe you should look at your MCOL Claim History and tell us what it says there.
Look at the list of CNBC email addresses in the opening post on the template Defence thread.

An update to the case and any advice would be greatly appreciated:
Courts have replied with the following:
Paragraphs 1 to 8 and 13 to 38 of the defence are struck out as an abuse of process, being a proforma "internet defence" consisting of poorly pleaded submissions, and Paragraphs 9 to 12 shall stand as the Defendant’s Defence.
I had the questionnaire prior to this that I completed as mentioned on this forum too.
Hearing has been booked to take place at a local court in 2 months time.
They've also sent a whole load of other information which appears to be prepopulated stuff about submitting any evidence 14 days before the hearing date etc..
So, now I'm kind of freaking out right now.
I have the boarding passes, flight details family photos etc ready to submit.
Is there anything else I should know or does anyone think the judge will take me seriously given they've removed majority of 'internet defence'?0 -
Is there a correct way of possibly asking the Claimant for a settlement amount to get rid of the whole thing?0

Which court and judge is this? Sounds like a judge who is a bit grumpy at reading the same thing for the hundredth time. He/she might also be wondering why you've submitted it if you were out of the country. It's like defending fresh air.Anyway, doesn't matter because paragraphs 9 to 12 are all you need if you were out of the country. Stick to the plan. Your witness statement goes in 14 days before the hearing date. It'll probably be very brief and include your flight details etc.2

I would’ve thought that was sufficient, have I misunderstood anything?2 -
the claimant Parking Solutions 24 Ltd. the acting solicitor is GladstonesThe registered keeper was out of the country at the time of alleged offence.
I would’ve thought that was sufficient, have I misunderstood anything?Yes if they didn't comply with the POFA then they can't hold you liable.
You can win this with a decent WS and evidence.
Please show us exactly what the remaining paragraphs 9-12 of your defence said?
Which Judge and which court struck out part of your defence but failed to strike out the claim, which doesn't even plead the breach?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
