Awaiting PSA test with GP - stops life insurance cover

Hi all,

I am awaiting a PSA test with my GP as a follow up to a previous test.  I am trying to take out life insurance, and where it asks me if I am awaiting an appointment with a GP, I specify this as I should, but I cannot get any life cover.

This is a standard test to check on my prostate.  I think I am right to include it in the application, but am I wrong to include it?

No. You are correct to. Not doing so would be non-disclosure. It would be very unusual for a provider to offer terms with any tests or investigations outstanding. They will usually defer a decision until the outcome is known.
