This morning my DH and I foraged for wild garlic and then used it to make enough pesto to last until next Spring. Having read your simple pleasures I wanted to share with you the abundance of Spring flowers that we saw - primrose, red dead-nettle, bluebell, dandelion, honesty, celandine, red campion, wood anemone, greater stitchwort, ground ivy, ground mustard, violets and lots of tree blossom. You are so lucky to have daffodils in your local woods, and I well remember the fabulous photos of the vast amounts of snowdrops that you shared with us last Spring.

Pleased to read that you also enjoyed a winter holiday, even better that you felt it was a good price.
