Had this of been Visa/Mastercard that would be the end of the matter, as you only get one chance at a chargeback.
Which couriers will get a signature? Royal mail don't... Will get a photo of a foot or door step & delivered package at best.
If it's signed for they are supposed to get you to sign on the small electronic device they carry with them. You sign on the screen. It's not foolproof though as I had something sent to me last week, signed for, and the postman just put it through the door. Several days later and the Track and Trace on RM's website is still showing it as not being delivered.
