How to get email notifications

I do not seem to get notifications from this forum, it says I am subscribed to some old ones, but usually on forums there is are some settings that allow one to set whether any thread I contribute to gets automatically subscribed.  I do not get any at all, except if I am logged in and refresh the screen.

I have gone through Privacy and other settings but can't see it.

Account & Privacy link, then right hand side of screen is Notification settings. Open that & you get a long list of options
