Withdrawing money from a cold wallet into my current account

Hi,
A couple of years ago, I bought $250 on a platform to buy and sell shares. Within a few weeks, I'd spent the $250 and put it down to experience and stopped there.
Recently I received a call from a man telling me that the platform I had used had used my $250 and invested it for themselves fraudulently. As such, I was entitled to a significant amount of money back.
With guidance from the man, I set up a cold wallet and I can now see funds (in dollars) sitting in my cold wallet account.
So here's my question. The man is saying for me to transfer this large amount into my current account, I need to transfer £2000 out of my current account for this large amount to then be transferred. This sounds dodgy to me. I can see the funds in my cold wallet account but I'm keen to find out how I can transfer these funds without losing anything out of my current account.
Any advice?
Thanks

This is obviously a scam. Please don't transfer any money - you'll lose both that and the money in this so-called wallet, because it presumably doesn't exist.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the original platform you sent money to was a scam and this was simply a follow-up to get more money from you10 -
Is this what is commonly known as 'a wind up' ?6

Advance fee scam - ignore! You don't have access to any notional funds, so don't throw £2K at the scammer in the hope that you'd retrieve the fictional money....4

Thanks+1 to you being targeted for a scam. The classic 'You need to give us money so we can give you a bigger amount back' scam methodology. If someone else phones saying you are at risk of being scammed and they can help you prevent it, then they are almost certainly a scammer as well.Think what personal details you've given the scammer, and whether you need to change passwords etc as a result.4 -
Does this really objectively look likely?£6000 in 20233

Thanks for all your comments but I have my own legitimate cold wallet with funds in there. I’m asking if I can take my funds out of this account into my current account without any involvement from anyone else. Thanks1
