Bosch mystery - dishwasher £ difference

  • Thanks @MattMattMattUK @Emmia @EssexExile - after further digging, the variation is down to the different rack arrangement (less is more apparently) and the country of manufacture (Poland cheap, Germany costlier). Not entirely sure it warrants such a price difference but there you go.
Based on my own experience I'd steer clear of Bosch made in Poland.  Very disappointing build quality compared to the costlier German machines; in other words, a false economy.

One made in Poland, the other Germany.
One with a cutlery tray, one with basket.
One (cheaper one) with plastic tub, the other with Stainless Steel tub. *

    * according to the Marks Electrical spec pages.

The tub material and German made may sway some buyers?
    Think that’s it.

I’ve just opened my broken Lamona dishwasher and it’s stainless steel inside so the old one seems actually quite decent. Pressed the power button one final time in hope it would fire up again and avoid a replacement but nothing, sadly. Looks like it’ll be the new plastic option and I’ll test out the so called Vario Drawer for cutlery.

Thanks for everybody’s time to investigate and reply 👍
