sounds like Buyer's remorse to me

what  kind of dealer was selling this Evoque ?

I wouldn't buy an Evoque and  if i did i'd have been buying it from a JLR  dealer  -  JLR  seems to be unable to deal with the QA/QC problems  it has had for many years...

I still would not expect a £15000 car to break down so quickly.

    It's JLR....
You can spend much more than that and they still break down, from brand new!

I notice you failed to answer the questions which are rather pertinent to case...

It's a JLR  product, a marque  known to  have  still failed to address it's quality  problems
