Is it a personal lease? Raise a complaint to the leasing company - they can't control the dealer's lead times but they might help with compensation, or contact Peugeot for you

    I’ve got very small hands.

    Doesn't that make it easier?

Well you would think but like I said, I can’t get my small hand in.

Have you tried holding/touching for about 5/10 seconds one of the controls/ touch symbols below the infotainment?
One of them could be a reset (I have a different car) but holding down / pressing on the symbol ican turn off, reboot etc)

Yes, held down pretty much every button in the car!

sometimes the 'turn it off and on again'  for  infotainment is to  pull the fuse  (assuming  it's not blown - in which case there;s your answer )  or  disconnect the battery

Even if the person has said they cannot reach the fuse ,disconnecting the battery on a new car can cause all sorts of problems.
