Need some guidance on filing a AA02 Dormant Company Accounts (DCA) with Companies House

Hi All,

I have a dormant Limited company that has not traded the previous 12 months. I need some guidance on completing the form as I'm having trouble with some of the jargon, and my numbers simply fail the validation checks.

The Facts:

  1. When the company was formed, 100 shares was created and fully paid at £1 each, so £100 paid in full.
  2. The business bank account has £414.xx.

See screenshot for illustration - thanks for any guidance in advance!

If you have £414 in the bank and there are no other assets, then shareholder's funds must equal £414.  From what you've posted I can only assume you still have £314 left in your P&L reserve you haven't taken as dividends.

I haven't seen the full form but I assume there must be sections you populate to build the final balance sheet.
