Sun tea.is quite popular in some parts of the USA. It's just left to brew in the sun.0

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

The best part for me is the comment about doing it the proper way in the microwave. It proves that somebody at the US embassy has a sense of humour.

I use a teapot. As to adding a minuscule amount of salt, if I suffered from bitter tea I wouldn’t be averse to trying it. As a child I drank tea with two sugars, now I think I'd find even half a sugar undrinkable.twopenny said:If they made it properly they wouldn't need to add salt.
My worst ever cuppa was in Delhi of all places. Tea bags of sweepings, Liptons.
And while you're mocking, who here uses a teapot?0 -
We use a teapot. Would never make tea in the cup. We don't use mugs - use cups and saucers and my sister still uses loose tea.0

Me. I use a teapot, but only when I've a raging thirst on me cos it's granny's Good Teapot and holds nearly 3 pints. Pot warmed first too.twopenny said:If they made it properly they wouldn't need to add salt.
