 I never dropped my phone either ... until the day that I dropped it.

I'd be surprised if your phone didn't have some level of scratching on it. Even micro scratching from dust/whatever is in the pocket.

To which some don't care about & that's fine for them. 

I personally don't like it - hence one of the reasons I always put a protector on.
