I struggle with my name as I have a hyphenated first name and two name surname without a hyphen (plus 2 middle names!). It never fits, and banks treat them differently. For example, Co-op don't seem able to have 2 separate surnames, so I had to add a hyphen - but they do not accept hyphenated first names. Tesco bank missed the last letter of my surname as it didn't fit. Sainsbury Bank ignored half my surname. etc. It's annoying
I appreciate banks who ask what name you want on the card e.g. Monzo, as I just pick initial and Surname. But all my cards are different.£12k in 26 #14 £3708.19/£12k 25 #14 £19,041.66/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k0
