Hargreaves Lansdown - cash in S&S ISA

I have used my ISA allowance for this year. I have also reached the income tax threshold on non ISA savings. I intend to sell some stock I hold in my Hargreaves Lansdowne S&S  ISA which I have held for many years. It will only amount to a few thousand pounds, but, rather than have it resting in my S&S ISA will it be possible to transfer the proceeds  to a cash ISA ?  Will the transfer process be the same as a cash ISA transfer?

Yes, as long as both HL and your cash ISA provider support partial transfers from S&S to cash ISAs, you can instruct the latter to process a transfer of the relevant cash balance.

Alternatively you could move it to a cash fund in the S&S ISA which is likely to be paying a similar rate to the savings account
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

As above. Stick it into a moneymarket fund within your ISA. Much less hassle and similar returns at the moment.
