A crappy weekend really. 7 hours in A & E with mums health issues yesterday, she’s ok but still in pain. I was on a NSD but after being awake for 19 hours and not eating in that time I caved in to a big tasty, over £8 for a meal!
Anyway today was also a disappointment. Planned spend day as we went to a mini rave for kids. I loved it but kiddo cried and cried  and wanted to leave after an hour so £40 for a feeling of failing cos he didn’t enjoy it. Oh well.

    Onwards.

Still a nice amount in the account so can make extra transfers fingers crossed this week!

noticed it was later to get dark tonight. Hoping for those lighter mornings sooooooon!

  • Well the nice amount got lowered quickly!
I actually got a ballot place for the great north run so that took a lot of that!
It does however mean that I have a goal to work towards so the training started this morning with couch to 5k and I’ll be joining slimming world tomorrow.
So now fitness, weight and finance is on my radar.
Will take a bit of my overdraft tonight. Pay day tomorrow so will see what happens this week!

  • Hi @JustALass, have read through your diary, I am sorry you had such a tough year last year. I think it is worth discussing the grief counselling, it may not be for you, but I know a few people who have found it so useful. Amazing work with the no gambling so far, that takes a lot of effort! Great news on the ballot!
  • Good luck for the great north run. I did it many many years ago and loved it. It's a fantastic atmosphere.
If you are needing to stay over please start looking now though. From memory places get booked up fairly quickly.
