Our first ever turkey!
We had an 8.63 kg one fresh from Sainsburys and we are still eating it Yummy!0 -
4.3 kg organic free range from Graigfarm organics. Probably the best turkey we have ever tasted. I made a simple sage and onion stuffing with their minced pork. Was not cheap but was very worth the money. We had an hm turkey, leek and mushroom pie today and I made a soup stock from the carcass.
The bird had a lot of luscious meat on it and I have frozen loads. There was not a blemish on the turkey and it was very obvious that it had been well-handled and had had a good life0 -

Got the cheapest French White wine had 'jean' in the Name for the recipe. The gravey was lovely. Knew the kids would not like the wine based Gravy so that had the stock from the Giblets cooked the night before.
Had the carcass simmering away last night for Turkey Soup0 -
